This is objectively a bad video. You open with "This is Lenovo Yoga Pro 7", continuing the trend of personifying objects.
But then for the rest of the video you call it (correctly but in this sense inconsistently) "the yoga pro 7".
Then you claim that a large percentage of creators use the Yoga line up, specifically mentioning that they determined the large percentage, without ever telling us how many percentages exactly, thus rendering it to an absolutely useless statement. What's a large percentage? Could be 10, could be 50, could be 90.
And at around 6:32, you say importantly, most importantly. Awesome writing.

Seriously, this video is objectively bad.
And subjectively, I think you should go back to QC before publishing crap like this.
If I was handling your account at Lenovo, I'd ask you to do better. Because this is a half baked ad, instead of a full baked sponsor video.

  • @kuyache2 on March 15, 2024

This isn't a Yoga! For me a Yoga is a laptop that can convert to a tablet and has pen support and great battery life. This is just a slim (and very low end) Legion laptop.

Lenovo's wave of mega silent firings in early 2023 were absolutely despicable. They laid off thousands of really great people after posting record profits and bragging about moving up the Forbes list each quarter in their "All Hands" NA org sales meetings to those people that moved the needle for them. They ruined thousands of people's lives who relocated and rented or purchased new homes just to join the US sales organization during the digital boom of the pandemic and increase in business for them, forcing them to lose their homes and become homeless. Their warranty process is atrocious and considered terrible by anyone who has had to deal with service claims on top of this.

shipping this AMD version with a max o f 16GB Ram is outrageous. This forces people who want a decent, portable and affortable premium laptop to buy their more expensive ones when they could have added a 32GB RAM option. It literally is no different than the intel version, even better in performance but 16GB RAM..

  • @Sachin1197 on April 29, 2024

Very confused video, it's 7 or 7i? And if it's yoga why its not written on laptop just like any other yoga laptops.

I'm a data scientist student, and I'm not really a content creator, I never edit videos or the likes, I don't draw, but I have a ThinkPad T490 that's a little over 4 years now, still got great battery, really, I could make it go for another two years by just changing the 512GB storage out with a 1TB.

The problem is, I would like to do some light gaming on it. However, with this old model only having integrated graphics, from four years ago, I can't really play anything in high-res, high FPS or apply mods to some of the games I want to play, if that game is from the PS2-era or newer. Literally, the only games that don't give me headaches are old ports of PS1 games or older, or modern pixel games that don't require much of anything to play in high quality.

I've been eyeing the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 (Gen 8) because it's got a 25% sale at the moment in my region, and it ticks off all the boxes that I want in a new laptop: AMD 7 CPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, slim and lightweight, and a dedicated graphics card (though I don't need it to be a beefy RTX 4060, to be honest, but that's the only one it offers for GPU ๐Ÿ˜…).

Like, the most I want to do of playing is modded old games from the Xbox 360 era or older through an emulator. I don't need a laptop that can run the latest modern games because I like using my consoles for that.

I just want a laptop that can do a bit of everything without it sounding like a plane engine like gaming laptops tend to do, which is what I fear a Legion might sound like.

Mostly I need to use it for studies, but I'd like it to be able to do a LITTLE bit more than just that.

I'm not a content creator, I don't edit videos or photos or create art, the most I do is write fiction as a hobby and, as mentioned, my studies in Data Science which requires quite a bit of programming and coding. (Though I am considering switching to study as an information technologist instead simply due to all the rumours I've heard about nobody actually needing literal data scientists, they just need someone to do Web design or the likesโ€ฆ which is not what I am studying! ๐Ÿ˜…)

Anyway, sorry for the rambling comment ๐Ÿ˜…

I do consume a lot of content, and though the 32GB of RAM isn't NECESSARY, I've been told it would be a HUGE quality of life improvement and erase a lot of the slowdown I'm suffering from having so many tabs and windows open.

Anyway, I hope you will answer this messy comment of mine, and then I hope you have a fantastic day ^^
