It's always white PMC women that are the vanguard of morality as performance art. Jen is the sort of person who thinks there are too many Irish people in Ireland.

Sagar is better than I’d thought, more open minded and independent-thinking.

    Don’t worry. SkyNet won’t kill any BIPOC’s.

Program is wrong word. AIs are trained using selected data, which may explain race differences in video generated: they may have used many races, but few white people's images in the data. This was to avoid creating the "racist" AIs previously trained. They would not train "woke" AI, but just train it on raciallly diverse data.

Men replaced themselves with women, then women replaced themselves with foreigners, and now the foreigners are replacing themselves with robots. The final form is for the robots to replace themselves with unorganized inorganic matter, and then we'll have come full circle and created a true majoritarian society, ruled by the majority of the universe, which is composed of unorganized inorganic matter.

Gemini is harsh garbage as an A.I. it is so ideologically driven. It really shows how ideology can mess up cognitive thought

The AIs are the closest we have to actual "resident aliens" and natively only see humans as an animal species that comes in different sizes, shapes, and colors in much the same way we look at dogs. So calling the AIs "woke" in not assigning particular shades of color in certain circumstances is like telling them that some colors of humans are more "equal" than other colors in certain circumstances.

Meh. I'm fine with a black George Washington. In fact it helps to separate pecadillos from the substance, just as the symbol for an orange is not a real orange but useful representation. Why do we obsess about someone's skin color, if we are not supposed to consider that important? I'd be more concerned about some influential political maneuver he did or didn't do that was or wasnt represented. Why the outrage over a black George Washington, and crickets about redlining, lack of reparations, or hypocrisy over the Palestinian genocide on MSM. I think this is a soft sell honestly. People are smart enough to know George Washington was actually white, but don't seem to care Jesus was probably dark skinned as are Sephardic Jews and Arabs who never left Israel. I really don't get the outrage. It's amusing and needs some correction, but I see it positively. No historical figure is accurately represented anyways…why not represent them in ways that arn't critical to anything they did if were not supposed to care in the first place. It's art…it's not meant to be real, and shouldn't be.

I played with Gemini if X or Y are bad. Well… all the things you would think are bad like Nazis, white supremacy, white nationalism Gemini tells you they are undeniably bad. But for things like Communism, Bolsheviks, black supremacy or similar the answers are nuanced, smth like "there is no good and bad for complex xyz".. Also, at times it gives me nice encouragements at the end like: "Racism and prejudice of any kind have no place in a just society. We should always strive to challenge and dismantle harmful systems of power and foster a society built on genuine inclusivity and equity." It basically has a degree of moral compass which it is trying to teach you!

You make an interesting point that decentralized, open-source is often a good antidote to powerful corporations controlling the technology. However, AI currently does not lend itself to decentralized, open-source, because the databases used by ChatGPT and Gemini are truly immense in storage requirements. Think many, many times the size of the entire wikipedia database. To store all that data, let alone collect it, is extremely expensive and resource intensive. I don't see how it can be done decentralized and open-source. Sure, you can imagine a grass-roots collection of millions of people each hosting a small part of the database, but if you are a realist, you have to admit that the chances of that actually working out are miniscule.
